Dear Andrew,
During the late summer I sent you a comment with a few small edits that needed to be made before I could print your score and parts. With different upgrades to this new mentoring site, all the comments from the summer were deleted. I hadn't saved my comment to you, so I don't remember what I wrote.
However, I've looked over your piece and have a few very small comments to make. First, your whole rests are in the wrong position in a couple of places. In bars 43 and 45 in the piano right hand, they are over in the left-hand side of the bar instead of where they belong in the middle of the bar. Just click on a blank space in each bar and hit delete and the rests will reset to the proper position. Second, there is quite a clash on beat 3 of bar 46 between the A in the violin and the G# in the left hand piano part. The easiest adjustment to make is to change the violin A to a B. Third, the pianist will probably read off the score, in which case the violin part needs to be on top. In the upper menu somewhere to the right of the middle ought to be a guitar symbol. That's the instrument menu. Click on it and you'll see both instruments listed. Click on the violin part and just drag it upward so it ends up above the piano. Finally, do you really want your piece to be named "Summer Workshop Movement I"? I'd say even something obvious like "Duet for Violin and Piano" would be better. Also, it's best to have your full name on the composer line in the score rather than just your first name.

Andrew, it will probably take you much less time to fix these little things than it took me to write about them. Please take care of them. Once you have, can you make a separate violin part as a .pdf file and email it to me as an attachment? I can print the score but don't have permission to print the parts. And we still can't attach documents, such as instrumental parts, to our comments, so you can't send it to me via this site.
Okay, Andrew, that's it. Please write me a comment here to let me know you've taken care of these things. Even a one-sentence response ought to generate an email notification to me. Please let me know if you have questions.

Best wishes,
Erik
