Hi Julia,

Nice to meet you--I'm looking forward to helping however I can.

You already have a really nice start to this piece. I love the harmony you're using, especially in the second to last measure. I'm wondering if there is another place that this kind of "other-worldly" sound can creep in--it works, and it keeps things really fresh.

At this point, how does the text fit with the notes that are written? I'd love to hear what your thoughts were about the poem itself and what led you to the decisions you made musically.

I wonder if you could experiment with different rhythms more often here. Specifically, I wonder if there could be more spots where one or more voices hold while the others move. You've done this a few times already, and it really adds some richness to the texture that could be a nice contrast to the four-voices-mov ing-together texture in the opening.

Looking forward to hearing back,

Justin
