Hi Kristian

Very cool piece!

I really enjoyed this. The layers are all really effective on their respective instruments. Are you a percussionist yourself? I'm curious if are able to perform this? The time signature sure makes it a challenge, but certainly doable.

You know when we got to measure 21 I was feeling like the piece had really arrived somewhere groovy, and satisfying on another level. I have to say I was disappointed at how quickly this arrival was over. Did you consider developing or elaborating on these measures? I think we could stand to hear more of it!

I know you've indicated that this is a completed work, but I thought I'd put it out there incase you're open to the feedback. Great work.

One other idea I had was that I'd be interested to hear the xylophone part played on Marimba instead. I feel like it might make a better blend with the other 2 instruments. A little darker and "earthy" rather than the cutting bright sound of a xylophone. What do you think?

best,

Matt Podd
