Hi Davis,

Nice job with the revisions. This is so much easier to read now. I also like the syncopated ostinato in the piano left hand.

Maybe try going straight into that ostinato in m. 8 rather than stopping the forward motion. You could put the rolled chord in the right hand on the downbeat.

Also, at m. 16 I'd suggest you try changing to an F chord in the left hand- That's what the melody in the right hand clearly suggests.- If you move the beginning of the ostinato back to m. 8 this change to F could happen at the beginning of the 2 measure idea right on the downbeat of m. 16.

Keep up the good work!

I changed the first note to a pickup, doubled the note values, changed the metronome mark and added some new material.

Hello Davis,

I really like the lilting minor-key melody you've created here.

So, for the time being I've only got some notation issues:

The first note of your melody should be a pickup note, not a downbeat. So the downbeat of the first full measure would be the b-flat, not the F. Also, I think it would be easier to read if you doubled the note values within 6/8. so it would read eighth, quarter, eighth, quarter and so on. Also, make sure your metronome mark is assigned to the dotted quarter, not the quarter note. We should be feeling 6/8 time as two foot taps per measure, not three. So you would have dotted quarter =54, not quarter = 80.

Keep up the good work!
