Lastly,
what kind of soft notes? In your mind, what kind of melody where you thinking? do you have feeling to describe the tune your where imagining?

Also, what about the pianos solo? should I add some tuba there?

Hi Rebecca!
Thanks for the advice! I will use it and your idea of adding some piano with the tuba. I do have one question. Should I change the whole piece to 3/4, or just those pieces?
Thanks!

Hi Trudy,

My name is Rebecca and I'll be your mentor for Opus 33.

You've got a great start on this piece! Your description is vivid and I think that the music you've written suits that description well.

A couple of comments:

1) You've listed your meter as being 4/4, but you're actually alternating between 4/4 and 3/4 without realizing it. Your sections from mm. 5-10 and 20-22 should be rewritten in 3/4.

2) Try adding some soft chords in the piano part at measure 5. I think it would be nice to complement the solo tuba there with some backup piano.

I'm looking forward to working with you on this piece! Let me know what you think of my suggestions, and definitely ask me any questions.

Best,
Rebecca
